John W. Stevens, III, an AV® Peer Review Rated Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, received his Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies in 1995, and his Juris Doctorate in 1998, both from Nova Southeastern University. Mr. Stevens is the managing partner of Stevens & Goldwyn, P.A. Prior to forming Stevens & Goldwyn, P.A., Mr. Stevens was a partner at a Boutique Fort Lauderdale Law Firm concentrating in Association representation and commercial litigation. Ebryonna Wiggins

Ms. Wiggins graduated from Williams College in 2012 with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Spanish. A native of upstate New York, Ms. Wiggins came to South Florida in 2017 to finish her legal studies by completing nine months of internships. She spent six months with the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, and rounded out the remaining three months with a prominent Hollywood law firm that focused on business and commercial litigation. Eric Choopani-Nezhad

Eric Choopani-Nezhad received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law after earning his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar, and is admitted to the Federal Bars of the Northern District of Florida, the Middle District of Florida, and the Southern District of Florida.

Mr. Choopani-Nezhad has been practicing law since 2017. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Choopani-Nezhad has been representing clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters including Construction Defect law, Workers’ Compensation law, Employment law, and Healthcare law.

Currently, Mr. Choopani-Nezhad centers his practice on advocating for community associations in complex disputes. Using his experience, strategic insight, and commitment to advocating on behalf of his clients, Mr. Choopani-Nezhad provides effective counsel and tailored solutions to help associations navigate challenging legal matters.

 

Jan Medina

Jan Medina is an associate attorney originally from Bayamón, Puerto Rico. He graduated cum laude from Nova Southeastern University in 2025. Prior to law school, Mr. Medina earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Florida International University, where he also graduated cum laude.

Mr. Medina is a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard, where he began his legal career and gained valuable experience working alongside Coast Guard JAG officers. During law school, he served as Associate Executive Editor of the Journal of International Law and Comparative Studies. He was also a member of NSU’s Moot Court Honor Society, where he competed in the Seigenthaler-Sutherland Cup National First Amendment Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C. These experiences reflect his commitment to legal scholarship, advocacy, and academic excellence.

Following his graduation from Nova Southeastern University, Mr. Medina continued his dedication to public service at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office, where he gained substantial courtroom and litigation experience. He also brings experience in real estate and title matters, further broadening his legal background and providing clients with a well-rounded perspective.
